little RED CHAIRS
ART GALLERY & WORKSHOP
The little RED CHAIRS: Art Gallery & Workshop is a multi-purpose venue dedicated to sharing stories of food x people x spaces.
It’s inspired by a series of participant-led workshops from the little RED CHAIRS: Community Nutrition Project. These workshops use the power of food x storytelling to explore social practices around food, nutrition and cooking in Battambang, helping to inform community-based health solutions while promoting the intergenerational exchange of Khmer culinary traditions.
Developed by The Fringe in collaboration with Battambang community members, little RED CHAIRS brings lived experience to the heart of the nutrition conversation.
These are those stories.

EXHIBITION (EX.) 2.5
Exhibition (Ex.) 2.5 is a collection of stories that explores food x people x spaces of Street 2.5, Battambang—reflections of daily life that resonate with the spirit of នឹកស្រៃ (nek-s’rai), “people of the countryside”.
The exhibition is part of little RED CHAIRS: Community Nutrition Project, which included early-stage development of the little RED CHAIRS Storytelling Working Group (SWG). Bringing together individuals from diverse professional and personal backgrounds, the SWG uses storytelling methodologies to explore meaning-making around food and nutrition in Cambodia.
Pull up a chair and celebrate the rich culinary traditions of Street 2.5, Battambang.
